September 3, 2020, Taluna was launched by Jessica Conlan from her home studio in Melbourne, Australia.
Taluna emulates Elevated Simplicity, with a key focus on timeless, high quality and minimal designs, to be loved and treasured by you.
The label began with lovingly hand-made garments and has since expanded into ethically manufactured garments overseas. Steering away from hand-made silk tops during the pandemic, in 2021, we launched our first range of hoodies, the Signature embroidery design in Cobalt Blue. Selling out in 4 minutes and later going viral on Tik Tok, the demand for our premium leisure-wear has been prevalent ever since.
In January 2023, Taluna had finally out-grown the home studio and garage (sorry mum and dad) and moved into a new office and warehouse space to continue expanding.
Taluna is continuously growing and expanding its range, aiming to provide something for every woman to feel confident in their individual beauty. We are always working towards increasing size inclusivity and diversity. We aim to reduce landfill and waste by choosing sustainable options from packaging, hand-crafting and sourcing materials.
Prioritising the planet and implementing sustainable practices through all business operations, Taluna sources its fabrics locally within Australia and garments are either hand made to order or available in small quantities to limit waste and unnecessary landfill. All orders are packaged individually and with care, in 100% recycled mailers, wrapped in custom FSC Certified acid free tissue paper and sealed with a soy-based printed Taluna sticker. Please re-use, recycle or compost your packaging and join us in caring for our environment.
Taluna will strive to do its very best in being as sustainable as possible and leading by example to pave the way for a more sustainable fashion industry. We hope to instil the importance of slow, ethical fashion and sustainability into everyone in our community and change the industry for the better.
Thank you for supporting a small, Australian business.
