Taluna was launched on September 3rd 2020 by Jessica and continues to run from her studio in Melbourne, Australia. As a fashion design graduate full of inspiration and passion, she began the label by hand-making garments herself.
Taluna has since expanded it’s product range with loungewear that is ethically manufactured overseas but many pieces still remain handmade with love by Jess herself. Taluna’s pieces are made in small, exclusive quantities and at high quality standards, to last the test of time and made to be loved and treasured by you.
Taluna is continuously growing and expanding its range, aiming to provide something for every woman to feel confident in their individual beauty. We are always working towards increasing size inclusivity and diversity. We aim to reduce landfill and waste by choosing sustainable options from packaging, hand-crafting and sourcing materials.
Prioritising the planet and implementing sustainable practices through all business operations, Taluna sources its fabrics locally within Australia and garments are either hand made to order or available in small quantities to limit waste and unnecessary landfill. All orders are packaged individually and with care, in 100% biodegradable bags, wrapped in custom FSC Certified, acid free tissue paper and sealed with a soy-based printed Taluna sticker. Please re-use, recycle or compost your packaging and join us in caring for our environment.
Taluna will strive to do its very best in being as sustainable as possible and leading by example to pave the way for a more sustainable fashion industry. We hope to instil the importance of slow, ethical fashion and sustainability into everyone in our community and change the industry for the better.
Thank you for supporting a small, Australian business.
With love, Taluna.
